What is Ready to Rise?

Ready to Rise is a 7-week summer reading program designed for rising 1st through 3rd graders. It is based on the Wilson Reading System®, a structured literacy approach proven to help students strengthen foundational skills and accelerate them forward for the next year.

Program Details:

• Dates: Summer 2025 (Cohorts starting in June)

• Duration: 7 weeks

• Schedule: 3 sessions per week

• Session Length: 90 minutes each

• Led by a Certified Wilson Reading Instructor

• Location: Newport Christian School (other locations TBA)
