Dyslexia and
Structured Literacy Intervention

One-on-one, in-person intervention using the Wilson Reading System walks your child through a
12-step system based on Orton-Gillingham (OG) structured literacy and multisensory principles
for dyslexic and challenged readers.

Executive Function Coaching

90-minute sessions. One-on-one coaching sessions address skills such as organization, study
skills, task initiation, and time management.

R2R Comprehension Bootcamp

A course of intensive training for students to learn how to think about what they are reading by personally connecting with the text, making observations, and accessing their prior knowledge. The program is organized into four modules, and it covers the key concepts developed from well-known and widely used comprehension curricula.

About Me

Hi, I’m Melissa Roberson, founder of Retrain 2 Read! I’m a former classroom teacher with over
ten years in the classroom. I have my Master’s in Elementary Education and specialized training

in tier 2 and tier 3 reading intervention. I am a trained instructor for a structured reading program called the Wilson Reading System (WRS) that sets students up for academic success using Orton-Gillingham principles. Teaching reading is my passion, and I celebrate watching students succeed. I will work to help your child overcome their setbacks and build confidence through their successes!
